Using brake fluid , can't find leak..2009. Also left blinker ,fast . Changed bulbs ,no help
It could be be leaking at the rear brake calipers. Have you checked for leaks there?
Make sure that all the turn signal bulbs are working. You didn't install led bulbs by any chance?
If the bulbs are working and are the right wattage it can be the BCM.
From the manual.
Turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp is controlled by combination switch reading function and the flasher control function of BCM.
TURN SIGNAL LAMP OPERATION
• BCM detects the combination switch condition by the combination switch reading function.
• BCM supplies voltage to the right (left) turn signal lamp circuit when the ignition switch is turned ON and the turn signal switch is in the right (left) position. BCM blinks the turn signal lamp.
HAZARD WARNING LAMP OPERATION
BCM supplies voltage to both turn signal lamp circuit when the hazard switch is turned ON. BCM blinks the hazard warning lamp.
TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR LAMP AND TURN SIGNAL SOUND OPERATION
• BCM transmits the turn indicator signal to the combination meter with CAN communication while the turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp are operating.
• Combination meter outputs the turn signal sound with the integrated buzzer while blinking the turn signal
indicator lamp according to the turn indicator signal.
HIGH FLASHER OPERATION (FAIL-SAFE)
• BCM detects the turn signal lamp circuit status by the terminal current value.
• BCM increases the turn signal lamp blinking speed if the bulb or harness open is detected with the turn signal lamp operating.
The blinking speed is normal while operating the hazard warning lamp.
funny things brakes can be , what type of master cyl do you have ? is it bolted to the booster ? which in fact can be the cause be leaking into booster itself , this will cause it to leak into the brake booster which can be SUCKED away by starting the engine . does it hurt the system to check the blinker bulb end with a volt meter ? to see if the current is flowing to it , after all if both rear and front not working , check to see if it is controlled by a FUSE. sometimes it can be the basic things that throw us all , like myself at this time working on a 2.8 diesel which has thrown a power steering pipe , and BOY oh BOY when it is the high pressure side it kind of makes a big MESS , little alone getting it out . good luck .
Can you provide some more information on the issue? Any diagnostic done?
Thank you much. I guess it's going into booster. Since I don't see it anyplace else. But it's been 6 months and I have used more than 32oz. Maybe booster is filling up.I think it's bcm as you say. It will have to go to dealer, unfortunately..
