Great Video and awesome work! Really does help someone like me who is well experienced with Japanese cars but not so much with Volvos. Most Japanese FOBs last 8-10 years without the need for changing batteries. Do Volvos have similar lifespans?

On the Volvo XC 90 (2017) fob, we lifted the little black piece at the top, instead of sliding it to open for battery replacement. The little black piece won't go back down now. Suggestions please ??
