Quote from Carly Mund on Sep 13, 2023, 5:20 pmMy AC is not getting cold and my blinker, gas gauge and pressure gauge is not working the all stopped working at the same time. What might be wrong for this to happen? My car is a 2021 Honda civic.

Quote from YOUCANIC Tech Support on Sep 15, 2023, 10:34 amWhen multiple systems in a car malfunction simultaneously, it often suggests an underlying connection, potentially related to the vehicle's electrical system. Here are a few possibilities:
- Fuse(s) or Relay(s): A blown fuse or a faulty relay might be responsible. Your vehicle has multiple fuses that control different components. It's possible that a single fuse or multiple fuses related to the systems you mentioned have blown. Check your owner's manual for the fuse box location and a guide to which fuses are linked to each system. Replace any blown fuses and check if the problems persist.
- Grounding Issue: Modern cars depend on various grounding points to ensure all electronic and electrical components function correctly. A poor or damaged grounding point might cause erratic behavior in several unrelated systems.
- Electrical Short or Wiring Issue: There could be a short circuit or wiring damage affecting these systems. Physical damage, corrosion, or wear and tear can lead to wiring issues.
- Body Control Module (BCM) or Other Control Modules: The BCM is a computer component in most cars that operates and controls various electronic devices throughout the car, including the functionalities you mentioned. If the BCM is malfunctioning, it can lead to multiple systems acting up.
- Software Glitch: Modern cars operate on sophisticated software. Sometimes, a glitch or error in the software can cause unexpected behaviors. In some cases, a simple software update or reset might resolve such issues.
Given that your car is a 2021 model, it might still be under warranty. I strongly recommend visiting a Honda dealership or authorized service center to diagnose and address the issue. They will have specialized equipment and knowledge about common issues with your specific model.
I hope you can resolve the issue soon! Safe driving.
