Exhaust Port

Exhaust Port refers to the way from the exhaust valve to the exhaust manifold

The exhaust system collects, quiets, and cleans the exhaust gases from the engine. The system carries the gases to the rear of the car and discharges them into the air. The exhaust system includes the exhaust manifold, exhaust pipe or port, catalytic converter, muffler, resonator, and tailpipe. Each bank of cylinders in a V-type engine has an exhaust manifold. An exhaust piper connects to each exhaust manifold. The two exhaust pipes may join and connect to a single catalytic converter.
