This type of suspension system is providing several advantages over the other suspension systems.

  • One example is that in a solid axle suspension system when one wheel hits a bump it will give an impact on both wheels. This will create traction, smoothness of the road and could also lead to a dangerous wheel shimmy when driving at high speeds.
  • Through having an independent suspension system, the bump primarily gives an impact only to the contacted wheel. This will offer many advantages such as greater ride comfort, better traction safety, and increased stability fosuspension system, the bump primarily gives an impact only to the contacted wheel.
