Trickle charger

A trickle charger is a battery charger that produces a very small current. Typically 2A, 3A, 5A or 6A. A smart charger will automatically stop charging the battery once the battery is fully charged. Over-charging your battery,  can lead to battery damage.

A trickle charger that does not offer smart charging (automatically off) can lead to overcharging, causing damage to the battery.
