2004-2008 Chrysler Crossfire Oil Change DIY Guide

In this guide you will learn how to change the oil filer on a Chrysler Crossfire.
What you will need
Step 1: Raise Vehicle
Drive the car over up on ramps. Place the car in park and set the barking brakes.
Step 2: Remove engine splash shield
Remvoe the plastic shield under the engine of your Crossfire.
Step 3: Locate oil drain plug on Crossfire
The oil drian plug on a Crossfire is a 13mm bolt.
Step 4: Drian Oil
Remove oil drain plug. Allow the old oil to drain. The oil may still be hot. Avoid touching it.
Step 5: Replace drain plug washer
Replace the drain plug washer if you have one. Reinstall the oil drain plug.
Step 6: Install drain plug
Reinstall the drain plug on your Crossfire.
Step 7: Locate engine oil filer Chrysler Crossfire
Locate the engine filer on your Chrysler Crossfire. Use a filter wrench to remove the oil filter.
Step 8: Replace the oil filter
Remove the old oil filter. Install the new filter on your Crossfire and tighten it by hand. Next, torque the filter to spec 25Nm.
Step 9: Locate oil filler cap
Locate the oil filler on top of your Crossfire's engine.
Step 10: Add engine oil
Add the recommended engine oil. Check the oil level after you add 8% of the capacity. Don't overfill engine with oil.
