In this DIY tutorial, you will learn how to remove and install a new car battery on a Mazda 5. What you will need:
The battery cold cranking amps should be at least 500 A and higher.
Instructions on how to change car battery on Mazda 5 2010-2018
Step 1: Turn off engine
Before you get started replacing the car battery on your Mazda 5, step one is to turn off the ignition. Mazda can be sensitive to voltage drops and keeping the key in the ignition can cause electrical problems.
Step 2: Open Hood
Open hood. In your Mazda 5 the battery is located under the hood. Pull the hood release to open the hood.

Step 9: Connect new battery
Reconnect battery terminals. First, connect the positive battery cable on your Mazda 5. Lastly, connect the negative terminals. Use fiber washers to prevent corrosion of the battery terminals.
Step 10: Synchronise
Next, start the car. Follow the instructions found in your owner's manual to synchronize windows, sunroof, seats and reset any radio preset stations.
