In this guide, you will find instructions on how to jump-start Chrysler Crossfire.
What you will need:
- Ensure that keys are removed from the ignition when you connect the cables. Remove key from the ignition. Modern cars are very sensitive to voltage and Chrysler Crossfire is no exception.
- Locate the hood release underneath the dash. Pull the lever until you hear the hood pop open. Next, you need to release the hood safety latch at the front of the hood.
Locate the battery on the engine bay, passenger side.
- Attach the red (positive) clamp to the positive terminal. If you are using another car to jump start your Chrysler Crossfire, you will need to connect the positive terminal on the helper car as well.
Connect the black (negative) cable to an engine ground point. If you are using another car to jump start your Chrysler Crossfire, connect the other end of the black cable to the battery of the other car.
Start Engine. If you are using a jump box you are now ready to start your Crossfire. If you are using a helper car go to the next step.
Start the helper car and let it run for a few minutes. Next, try to start your Crossfire.
If all you hear is a click when you try to start your car, check the cable connection points. Allow the dead battery on your car to charge for a little bit longer then try again.
These instructions apply to models such as Crossfire made during these years: 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008.
