Procedure

  1. Park your Mercedes-Benz on a level ground set the parking brake and let the engine cool down.mercedes park
  2. Pull the hood release under the dashboard to open the hood. open hood
  3. Remove the engine cover by lifting it.remove engine cover
  4. Remove the T-25 Torx bolts that secure the ignition coil to the engine. Each ignition coil has two bolts. remove ignition coil bolts
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector. Use a flathead screwdriver to unlock the tab on the connector. Then press and pull the connector away.

  6. If your ignition coil comes with the boot, pull up the coil and the boot together to remove them from the spark plugs.mercedes ignition boot Glc300. Slk300. Glc350e. Coupe, 2.0l. Without high output.If you are not replacing the boot, use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the spark plug boot from the ignition coil.mb ignition coilPull the ignition coil upwards.remove igntion coil
  7. Remove the ignition coil.remove ignition coil
  8. Install the new ignition coil and torque the Torx screws to 10Nm.ignition coil
