- Open the tailgate, and have a friend keep it open. This is so it doesn't fall when you remove the struts.
- Pry off the covers on the top and bottom of the support struts and remove them, one side at a time.
- Install the new struts. They snap right onto the little connectors.
- Test them to make sure that the trunk stays open.
