If you have lost the keys to your Chevrolet, don't panic. You can order a new key from any Chevy dealer or locksmith.

The price can vary depending on if your Chevy has a transponder key, security chip, or VATS.

If your Chevy is a 2006 or newer vehicle, it may also need to be programmed. The cost to program a new Chevy key at the dealer ranges between $60 and $180.

How to order a new Chevy key

  1. Locate a Chevy dealer near you.
  2. Call the nearest dealer or locksmith and get a quote for a new Chevy key. You will need to provide your VIN. If you don't know your Chevy VIN, open the driver door, and locate the vehicle sticker. Write down the 17 digit number. order new chevy key with vin number
  3. Head to the dealer to order a new Chevrolet key. Make sure to bring your ID, vehicle registration, and title.
