BMW Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) can be found printed in several locations on the vehicle.
A common location is on the frame on the driver's door. Open the driver's door and you will see a black sticker with a barcode. Right below the barcode, you will have the VIN number.

The BMW VIN number is also listed in your insurance card, vehicle registration, and title or ownership card. To make identifying a VIN less difficult, remember that a valid VIN consists of exactly 17 letters and/or numbers.
