What you will need





  1. Open the trunk.Open-trunk
  2. Remove the trunk panel cover by using a Philips screwdriver to detach plastic retaining screws gently.remove-trunk-coverremove-retainers

  3. To remove the taillight assembly, use a 10mm socket to loosen and remove retaining nuts from the side of the trunk and inside the trunk panel.remove-retaining-nuts2remove-retaining-nuts1
  4. Disconnect electrical connection from the taillight assembly.remove-electrical-connector
  5. Push taillight assembly from inside the trunk panel to remove it. Or grab the taillight assembly from outside the trunk, then pull.pull-assemblypush-assembly

  7. Prepare the new taillight assembly.
  8. Install the taillight assembly from outside the trunk, then push it in to fit on the trunk.
  9. Install retaining nuts.install-retataining-bolts
  10. Reconnect electrical connector.reconnect-electricals
  11. Reconnect trunk panel cover.reinstall-trunk-panel
  12. Secure trunk panel cover by re-installing plastic retainers.reinstall-retainers
