Mitsubishi Mirage Check Transmission Fluid Level

This guide provides instructions on how to check and add transmission fluid on a Mitsubishi Mirage G4.

What you will need

Procedure

  1. Open the hood. Go to the driver's door and pull the hood release under the dashboard. Then unlock the hood latch and pull the hood up, use the hood lift to support the hood up.Opened hood of the Mitsubishi Mirage.

     

  2. Find the dipstick for the transmission fluid located in front of the battery and just behind the engine coolant reservoir.Dipstick of the transmission fluid.

     

  3. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean. Then put it back in and pull it out again. Check the oil level at the bottom of the dipstick. If the vehicle has been driven for at least fifteen minutes, use the marks next to the H (hot). If the vehicle has not been driven, use the marks next to the C(Cold). Dipstick indicator of the transmission fluid.

  4. Add transmission fluid is low. Remove the dipstick and put a little funnel on where the dipstick sits on. Then pour the transmission fluid into the funnel.This is where you will put the little funnel when adding transmission fluid.

  5. Check the transmission fluid again and put the dipstick back in when the fluid level is enough.Checking the dipstick of the transmission fluid.
