Question Details

I may have left keys in auxiliary position. After 30 minutes car wouldn't start. Had it jumped then drove it for 30 minutes. Took to Autozone and they tested battery which was good. Then had me start vehicle checked starter with machine and said starter is bad. Is that how a starter is checked ?COuld they be wrong ?

Yes they could be wrong.

The starter is not tested with a battery analyzer.

I would drive the car for at least one hour to charge the battery. That should bring your battery to an optimal level.

If you think it is the starter, try tapping it with a hammer a couple of times. If the car starts, then you know the starter is on its last leg.
