Please Mercedes Medic Please Help , I Desperately Need Your Expertise. I have a 2007 Mercedes Benz S 65 AMG With a Bi Turbo V12 M275.12 Beast of a Motor in it. Having Random Cylinder Misfires with Check Engine Light On then Off Then On Then Off Then Finally Staying on for Good. OBDII Says Random Cylinder Misfires and I had a Flat exhaust note come up. Being Paranoid I Felt it was Catalytic Convertors Because Of The Flat chugging sound but read in an Article on Line about Recent Mercedes Having a Feature That Cuts Off Gas To Misfiring Cylinders at 200-RPM To Prevent the Cylinder Becoming an Oxygen Pump Sucking all the Unburned Petrol into The Exhaust Destroying The Catalytic Convertors Quickly. I Hope My Baby Has This Guardian Angel to protect these expensive catalytic convertors as I am spring ready to get my Animal All The way Together 100%!!!!!!Thanks.

      Sincerely,Marco Mercedes

Can you tell me exactly what you want to know. I understand what you felt like was the problem and what you did to fix it, but what's the real issue here :)
