2013 kia optima door open light (fuse)

Hello , my light stays on even though the door is closed. I brought it to the dealer for a separate issue , mentioned the door light and was told it was a common problem. the battery that came with it 4 years ago died so i bought a new one last month.
Since we've been having this extremely cold weather and that light is on even when the car is off the new battery died.
Is there a fuse that i can pull that will kill the power going the that light ? i am looking at diagrams online and don't see one.
Thanks.

Yes there is a fuse for the interior lights. Usually in the fuse panel under the dash.

But the problem is easy to fix. Usually the culprit is the switch in the door frame. The switch has a black rubber cover on top and can be pressed in. Each door has one. One of them must be defective. That would be my guess.

You can remove the light bulb itself in the meantime.
