Can the car run ok for a few days if the a/c belt breaks? ( assuming it is the a/c compressor belt because it is smaller and behind the serpentine belt that is driving the alternator, etc.)

Comments

If your car broke the A/C compressor belt, it should not be an issue to drive it for a few days.

There are no direct consequences, except that your A/C system won't work.

However, ideally you should get this fixed as soon as possible.

Relax and drive your car for a while. There is nothing to worry about!

However, if you live in a hot country, get it fixed :)
