About a year ago I bought my daughter a 2011 Mercedes ML350 recently the air conditioning has been acting up so I took it to the mechanic he told me it was the compressor and it was $2,000 I started looking through the car and found that the blower motors  fuse  was missing. I replaced the fuse but the fan is still not running, and the compressor look to be working. How can I get the fan runnimg again , it hasn't had a fuse for over a year , at a minimum?

Does the blower fan not work even in hot setting?

Let the car run and the ac on even if the fan doesn't blow. Check out the ac lines in the engine bay and see if they are cold.

Initially when I put in the fuse the fan was not running but then after driving it a bit my daughter turned on the a/c and it was blowing cold. She then called me an hour later and said it wasn't working again but by the time she got home it was blowing cold again, so I'm sort of at a loss.

Let us know what you find out about the ac lines.

The blower fan in your car may be shot. That's also why it blew the fuse.

When it stops working is it not blowing cold or not blowing at all?

In other words we need to determine if the blower fan is acting up or the air conditioner.

It starts blowing hot air and the fan stops running but obviously when it is blowing cold It is running, what makes it stop is the million dollar question.
