Question Details

I have a 06 e55amg. Had ac compressor kit changed had freon circulated by machine and ac ran cold for 2 days and then started blowing hot again. took it back to shop and was told I have ac module fault codes 9205, 9440, 9450, 9460 and 9100 but they weren't able to access code info and referred us to another shop that wants to charge more money to read codes. Just want to know if there's any info about this available before I have to spend more money

Below is a description of the fault codes.

  • 9205 B12/2 refrigerant pressure sensor
  • 9450: B31 (C-AAC Multifunction Sensor)
  • 9460 is a fault code for the electronic blower regulator.
  • 9100 engine CAN bus fault

The most important thing is to know which codes are still current. Some of these codes may be STORED and should be deleted.

The other tip I have is to have someone with star diagnostic who know what is doing troubleshoot this problem. Most tech don't know how to work on these cars unfortuanlty. One stored code may prevent the system from working. And in this case they may all be stored codes.

Let us know what you find out.
