Hi. I have a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 T1N.

Does anyone know if the adaptive reset procedures outlined in another post on this site work for my van?

ps: I chose Dodge "RAM" from the vehicle selection list as "Sprinter" was not an option, and I needed to pick something to process the question.

It should that van also has the 722.6 transmission used in other models.

If it doesn't then nothing will happened.

Assuming the procedure works, would you recommend doing it?  Over on the Sprinter forum, it was mentioned that "Part of the Adaptive process allows for and compensates not just for driver/driving conditions, but more the state of or performance of the transmission itself. Resetting on a regular basis negates the advantages of the latter, as it is constantly starting over."

Does that make sense to you?

I just got my van out of the shop, and it is running well.  Assuming that the reset process does work on my vehicle, is there a way to really know if the procedure did anything (do you get a message, etc)?
