Hello everyone,

This is my very first question, so don't be too harsh. 😁  Well here we go....  My question revolve around the proper functionality of the auto headlight position on my multifunction switch assembly.  When the switch is in the auto position with the fog light switch in the on position, it is my belief is that all lights should be off on a bright sunny afternoon until hours of darkness when my headlights and driving/fog lights turn on automatically.  Can anyone confirm that as being the proper function of the auto lights on position?  I have a reason to believe that my multifunction switch assembly is malfunctioning.  Thanks to any and everyone that provides assistance/guidance with this matter.

Is there anyone out there with a 2012 Quest LE that can confirm the operation of the auto headlight function with the foglight switch in the on position during daylight hours when lights should be off? I am asking this question because I have a suspicion that my multifunction switch is not functioning properly by turning on my headlights when my van is started and keeping them on until I shut it off, whether it is day or night. So that is the reason I am asking, what should be a simple question, on an open forum. Thank you to anyone that can provide some information and have a good day.
