Please if anyone have had a same problem

I own 2011 ML 350 bluetec, and among all other problems this one has taken lot of my time, money and nerve.Long story short, after loosing radar operational use and getting short circuit, loosing ability to shift into gears with all the warning lights coming on the dash,I finnaly got me sensors but what a surprise, they don't  work. Apparently there is no power on the conectors. Fuse is OK, and the diag is saying the problem is in X29/35 BLIND SPOT RADAR MONITORING ELECTRICAL CONECTOR.If anybody knows the what are those conectors and where are they located because on the wiring diagram O don't see it

I appreciate any help

Thx

For what you describe my first guess would be that you are dealing with a water damage.

mercedes blind sensor

The module is typically is mounted on the rear bumper. It is very easy for it to get water damage and stop working.

Check the connector to this module first.

Let us know what you find.

I did purchased 2 brand new modules, but can't get power on the wiring. Read somewhere that harnes should be changed as well. When I first got message on the display I still had option to turn off the assistance. After short circuit occurred there is no more that option in the menu.

Both modules were heavily damaged by water. Amazing engineering by MB and place to put it. There was a thousand better places

Unfortunately if any water got in the wires, you will have to replace the harness as well. It is unfortunate where MB puts those water sensitive modules.

I would recommend taking a few pictures and creating a DIY post. When you are ready, go to My Account in the main menu. Select the POSTS tab and create a new DIY POST. This is fairly a common problem and there are not that many resources online.

I've been kind a busy with some other stuff. As soon as I get back to it I'll keep you posted.

Were you able to fix the blid spot issue? What was the problem?

If not, you may want to take a look at this article:
