When l start my x5 sometimes the climate control will light up and work fine, all dash lights operating as normal, other times and recently more often the airbag light seems to glow at about 50% and no power to the climate control control,  before I take it to either an auto electronic or BMW can this be fixed

OKay, so I noticed one thing clearly, that the airbag light stays on.

If your airbag light stays on this is a classic example of your BMW's Supplemental Restraint System being faulty. This is also dangerous since it means your airbags might not deploy during an accident.

Unfortunately, from here on, you will need a scanner to check this problem in more detail and confirm it. You need to let me know the fault codes it displays. If you don't have a scanner, you will need it to take the dealership.

However, this is not a big issue and we might need to simply reset the airbag setting.
