I just put a transmission in my 2002 Mercedes-Benz C240 car wont start now turns over and clicks once car has all lights and everything else working brand new battery car starterd two days before transmission was put in


I wonder if there is something not lined up prperly to not allow the engine to turn. Use a 27mm socket on the crankshaft pulley and check if the engine turns by hand. Turn it clockwise only.

Let us know what you find out.

You are correct we figured that out yesterday had to pull transmission back more and started but not going into gear  but now we figured out we have to take of the torque converter off as well thanks for the responce
