Hello!

I have a mercedes benz c250 coupe 2012. Im experiencing a weird issue with it.  Everytime im able to start my car and drive, it seems fine but when I turn off the engine ,it will start again. However if I wait about lets say 30 min to an hour it will start. The temperature gauge keeps showing that my car is cold even though i drive it for a while. I live in montreal quebec so we have cold winters and I did not drive my car this winter, I would just start it warm up the engine. Any advice will be appreciated.

Thank you

What you describe are symptoms of bad crankshaft position sensor. Cheap part. Replace that and let us know if the problem persists.

OKay,

This really is a strange problem my friend. I also believe this must be a problem with the crankshaft position sensor.

Due to the fault, it is giving false positives and wrong signals to the main computer.

Just to confirm, it would be good if you can run a scanner on it.

A simple part replacement should be able to solve this problem.
