I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L. I have a code of P0300. But i didn't have any other codes to show up. I also noticed that my Catalytic Converter was glowing red. Noticed Coolant leaking when car sits overnight. Please help.. Why am i not getting a code for the Catalytic Converter?

What's happening is that unburned fuel is going into the catalytic converter. There is nothing wrong with the catalytic converter that's why you are not getting a code for that. You need to figure out why you have P0300 code. Which is a misfire code. It can be a bad coil pack. Fuel issue. Or worst case scenario it can also be a blown head gasket. Which makes me wonder since you mentioned the coolant leak. If I had the car, I would do a compression test. Check fuel pressure. Let us know what you find out.
