Hi. I recently took my car to a mechanic and he replaced the ABS Speed Sensor. After the replacement, I have a ABS and ESP fault lights on the dash. I also cannot shift out of park now. Any idea what the issue may be? The car is a 2006 CLK 500, no fault lights in the computer, the mechanic also said they tried resetting several times also. I might have to tow this thing back to them to get it fixed. Thanks for your help.

If the ABS and ESP lights are on there are definitively fault codes stored in the computer. They may not have the right scanner to read the codes. A generic OBD2 scanner will not read ABS codes. My guess is that they haven't installed the ABS sesnsor the right way. And yes, it will give you the symptoms you describe.
