I have a check engine light on my 2009Chrysler T & C, my mechanic thought it was the valve on the gas tank not relieving the gas tank pressure.  He has changed the valve, the cannister, and checked all the lines for leaks or collapsed lines, by the way he had to remove the gas tank to check all the lines, and a new gas cap.  After each of these changes the check engine light is still on, there is still pressure in the gas tank when you shut the engine off, I have no problem putting gas in the tank.
