I own a 2012 Nissan Maxima. The key fob battery is failing. Looking at your video the ob looks like CR205. After the battery is replaced do I need to have the fob re-programmed. If I do not need to reprogram where can I buy a replacement today?

No you don't need to program the key after you change the battery. It will work.

You can buy the battery from Walmart, Amazon, eBay.

Hope this helps.

There is no need to program the key fob after you change your battery.

Some people might tell you about some troubles they have encountered after changing a battery and that was probably due to them using a used or a low-quality battery.

Your best bet is to buy something that is recommended by the manufacterer, or simply, what came originally with the car
