Hello everyone. My 2006 CLS 55 dynamic seat doesn't work. A while back the diagnostic came back as the pump needed replacing. Can someone tell me if that damn pump is under the seat? In the trunk? I cannot find any youtube videos on it. Also, please recommend if I should buy not just the pump but the reservoir and anything else? When you push the buttons, they light up but nothing happens. When you drive nothing happens. Please help. Also, what is the part number?

You can start fixing this problem by removing the pump assembly from the trunk of your vehicle. It is situated behind the navigation part in the trunk on the drivers side behind the carpeting. There should be one power plug going into it and two air lines are connected to it. It is insulated by some removable gray foam.

Thank you so much! Do you know if I should purchase the other components as well? or is the pump sufficient?

These are the steps which can help you remove it. 1) First disconnect the air lines and then the power plug. 2) then take out the whole assembly from it 3) break the black box around the seam using any tool or a flat head screwdriver. You may have to use force for it. there are not so many things in it to break. 4) just try to careful a bit when you will open the box as it may that the failsafe bits have protrude out. 5) The pump will slip out and is connecting to a circuit board that you will also have to take out with it. disconnect the little pressure sensor from its clips when you detach it from the black box.
