The gear shift P still engaged when D is engaged. Shift P does not engaged when R is engaged.

How to sort this out and can we drive with both P & D engaged?

Comments

Hello!

So, when you move the gear selector from P to D, it still displays P on dashboard?

Do you drive it like that, and is there any other symptoms?

Boki

I know you might feel like this is something you can fix.

Normally, the only way to fix this is to change the complete Transmission valve.

However, before you do that, I will suggest you use a scanner to try and figure out the real problem.

I will never ask you to 'fix' a faulty transmission. Just replace and get a new one
