Connected jump leads the wrong way round and tried to start car. Realised what I had done wrong and changed leads around. Car starts well, but doesn’t appear to be charging. Various odd things in message display. Is there a fuse I can check? Alternator issue?

Its a 2002 W210 E320cdi auto Estate.

thanks in advance!

Okay, so the problem started because you had intially connected because of wrong jump leads.

I think the only issue is that the car's computer is now offset and you might simply need to reset it. Do you know how to do it?
