ESC light Come ON, Whell Speed sensor and ABS sensor have Checked

Question i have to asked:

1. Where is the location of Yaw Rate Sensor on Suzuki Swift 2014? 2. Can battery low voltage cause ESC malfunction? Thankyou

Comments

1. Yaw rate sensor is usually installed at the center of the vehicle. In most cars, and asume the Swift as well, it is below the central armrest or right next to it.

2. Defintively. A low battery can cause the ESC light to come one. The thing about ESC module is that in most cases the ligh will turn off as soon as the problem is fixed, such as the low battery voltage. In other words, if you replaced the battery and the ESC light is still on, then you have another issue going on.

Have you read the fault codes from the ABS / ESC module?

Thanks you for your Great answer,

I just replaced old battery with the new one but after several hours ESC light come ON again,

The Fault Codes i have read through OBD 2 Scanner are: C1091 and P0101

Really appreciate for your details and what i have to do if i founds 2 error codes above...

Thankyou

C1091: ECM Control Module Data in CAN Line Failure.

The C1091  points to line failure. It means the wires to the ABS module are damaged or the module itself may be defective. This problem may be caused by a bad wheel speed sensor.

Use your scanner to see if you are getting the same reading from all 4 wheel speed sensors.
