My radiator fan turns on 15-20 seconds after the engine has been stopped, even when the engine is cold.

For example even after the engine ran only for 15 seconds, radiator fan turns on after the engine has been stopped.

Hyundai technicians have told me I do not have to worry about this.

Do you have any idea what it can be?

Thank you very much.

It could be that that's the way it is programed or it could be a sticking cooling fan relay. Most likely the first. Keep an eye on it. As long as it turns off every time it is ok.
