I was told by the repair facility that my oil pan is leaking at the seal. I’m pretty sure I can do this myself. I’ve read some things about having to jack the engine up to remove the pan. I cant imagine this is needed for a simple job. Can anyone give me some info on how difficult this job will be? I haven’t been under the car yet to check out the situation because I just got the news last night. I also can’t find info online for my model. Thanks for any help you can give. Mike

I believe your Sonata has the sub frame bar right under the engine and you won't be able to get to all of the oil pan bolts to remove it. Let us know what you find out.
