I am trying to locate the rear parking buzzer on a 2007 Mercedes cls 320 cdi. Not parktronic.
What do you mean, the speaker itself?
Yes, the beeper doesn't sound at all, even when I engage reverse. I have cleaned sensors and checked fuses all I can think is the beeper itself has died but I can't find it.
My understanding is that the buzzer (speaker) are integrated on the small modules that have the warning lights. Do the distance warning lights come on? Does the front one work?
Hi sir. I would like to bring to your notice that you get the buzzer sound from your car speaker, which is installed in the rear of the vehicle. HJowever you can find the parking sensor in the lower part of the car trunk.
I believe that there is some problem with the parking sensor. it could be due to the sensor getting blocked or damaged. or the connecting wires could be broken over the year or are fried due to sudden fluctuations of the voltage supplied. what I have observed in most of the cases and from your description, it is that the connecting wires may be broken or damaged. i would request you to check them using the multimeter, whether they are broken or not. if they are broken change the wire.
Thank you for your reply but I believe it is the beeper/speaker because it no longer bleeps when I select reverse gear either although my reverse lights do come on.
Thank you for your reply. Mine doesn't have the lights just the audible buzzer.
