The new Kia Seltos has a number of new active safety features that are standard across the range, including pedestrian detection, active braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, driver attention monitoring, lane assist and intersection monitoring and warning, with comprehensive performance.
The 2.0L naturally aspirated engine has a maximum horsepower of 146Ps and a peak torque of 179N-m, matched with Kia's CVT technology-based IVT continuously variable transmission and optional four-wheel drive; while the 1.6T turbocharged engine has a maximum horsepower of 175Ps and a peak torque of 264N-m, matched with a 7-speed transmission. 264N-m, mated to a 7-speed DCT dual-clutch gearbox, and with 4WD as standard.

Korean manufacturers are now at par with their Japanese counterparts, In Asian countries, Korean cars are a bit cheaper than Japanese cars, but they are equally reliable.

Yes, I agree with you. Maybe even Chinese cars are better than Korean counterparts. LOL

Depending on where you are located, I would say that new Kias are a safe bet when it comes to cars. Both Kia and Hyundai have come a long way over the last decade, in reliability, safety and desirability. If you really want a Korean car, you'll have good luck with Kia or Hyundai.
