I have a Mercedes c200 estate 2001 the key fob works the doors but if left over night will not work the ignition until you leave the key in the ignition switch for about 8 to 10 mins then the car starts to except it  1st it all starts to buzz the you can turn on the ignition but wont turn over then after about 2 mins it will turn over and runs fine for the rest of the day if you leave for about 5 hours it takes about 2/3 mist to work I have changed both batteries in the fob also fitted a new 100amp battery in the car still the same problem any idea's ?

Most likely a problem with the ignition module EIS. Do you have a spare key to try?
