I read your article about buying a used mercedes. I have two options; c200 kompressor year 2005 kms 95,000. C180 year 2000 kms 70,000.

I like to know which model will be less troublesome in terms of engine and fuel efficiency and maintenance cost. I have a Toyota corolla 2010; I wonder if I am making a right decision in terms of realibility, ride and comfort.

While I am not familiar with the smaller engines on the C-Class here are my thoughts. - Look for one with the 5-speed automatic transmission. The 2000 will have the five speed but the 2005 may not, around that time they switched to the 7-speed. Early 7 speed 722.9 transmissions had problems. - 2005 has better interior and other improvements. As always make sure the car has been well maintained.
