Hello! I have the following problem. I will start with a little bit history, i decide to increase the power of my clk 320 cdi, so i have overhauled my turbocharger with a bigger compressor wheel , than I go for remap. The guy said that the computer should be open in order to write on it the new  data.  So everithing was fine untill i went to the highway and step on full throtle. The problem is coming after 130-140 km/h before change the gear there is like a intermittent shut off the fuel utill change the gear, then it repeats again on the next shifting. This problem occur only on high speed with full throtle. What can cause such a problem? I forget to mention that , there is no fault codes and when i go for diagnose no body can tell me what is the problem. I id 7g tronic diagnostic and all was fine.


You can do it yourself. All you need is a fuel pressure gauge with schrader valve. Remove engine cover. Locate the schrader valve on the fuel injector rail. It's that easy.

Hi, As i read your problem, I can make out easily that there is a problem in the air-fuel mixture. This happening because you overhauled your air compressor with a more powerful compressor. Now you should know that this compressor derives its power from the crankshaft and rotates at very high speed as the speed increases. Now the air reaching your carburetor is sufficient and makers as a perfect mixture of air and fuel for combustion. Now hat happens is that when you press clutch and shift gear the fuel supply to the carburetor decreases and comes to nominal during the shifting. making more air supply and less fuel supply, this leads to the insufficient fuel in the air and due to which the vehicle cannot burn the fuel. and it appears that the fuel supply has stopped but in reality, it doesn't otherwise your engine would have shut down instantly. Now after you change your gear and release the clutch the fuel supply gets in flow again and the engine combusts perfectly and your vehicle runs smoothly. Hence in order to rectify this problem, I would like to suggest you change your carburetor and use a good carburetor as per your specification.

hi, thanks for the update I mistook it for the previous version, however, I would like to bring to your notice that the problem is still the same, he needs to change hi pressure in gasoline injection as the air pressure entering the combustion chamber is high as compared to the fuel entering the combustion chamber during the gear shift.
