I have a 2001 E320 Mercedes Benz that I work on my self. I am looking for a scanner and comparing iCARSOFT and autoenginuity. Which of this two scanner is worth buying and will work on my E320 W210. I need to get this fixed before next year. I get CEL and flashing fuel gauge light. I also get SRS light. So I want to analyze and fix my car. I also have other cars such as Jetta and old 560SEC. The family alos own Masda, Subaro and Honda. Any time there is a problem, my kids call me. My sister have GLE.

So which is a better buy, iCarsoft or Autoenginuity?

iCarsoft is not going to help you because it does not have the 38 pin connector that allows you to access multiple control units on the W210. As far as autoenginuity I haven't used. My guess is that if it does have 38 pin connecot is should be a better choice. If it doesn't then it is not worth it. Anything that connects to the OBD2 port via the 16 pin port is worthless. Well it can only read and clear codes from the ECU to be exact. Also read this article: http://www.mercedesmedic.com/best-obd-2-can-scanners-for-car-diagnostics/
