So I'm about to purchase a benz e500 2009 model from a friend, he's not in town but I have access to the car. There's no battery in the car so I got one! I want to know what will happen if I connect the battery the wrong way!

If you connect the battery the wrong way you can cause expensive repair my friend.

If that did in fact happened, there should be a fuse to protect the circuit.

But don't do it.
Connecting the battery is very easy.

The battery for that car is in the trunk. The red cable needs to be on the postive + battery post.
The black cable needs to go on the negative - post.

It's that simple.
