Re. MB 2003 E320 wagon

Driver seat got stuck, not able to go backward.
Still can go forward and raise up / down
I am desperate, my knees hit the console, I can barely drive a short distance. Help!

If you haven't already done so, you will probably want to crawl into the footwell behind the driver's seat and inspect the rails for foreign objects. You might have dropped a coin or other object which has gotten stuck in the rail and is preventing you from going back.

If the rail is clear, check the fuses. If they're good, it might be the servomotor.

Move the seat all the way forward. Then continue to hold the two switches pressed towards the front for a about 10 seconds. It will reset the seats and sync the range. Had this happen on my E320.
