After I change a running light does the computer need to be re-set to acknowledge the new bulb?

I don't think you will need to. Which Light are we talking about?

Even if the computer prompts you, a simple reset should be able to do the job

Thanks.  I replaced the bulb and the light is still not working and the errror message on the dashboard says to replace the bulb.

Can you check the sockets and the circuit of the lights? If the lights are good and you have

reset everything it can be a problem with the wiring.

However, are the lights brand new? I am just asking cause it might be a fault with

the lights itself..
