My R class has a strut air leak when normal position but when raised just a few mm it stops.

What can this be due to? Seals?

Thank you

Sorry to hear this. I've experienced and it really is an annoying problem. My take would be to start by looking at the seals, as simple as it may sound, the problem may have started fro there.

About the steering fluid, that is a strange problem, can you provide more details on it?

I have changed the speed sensor on the steering rack and after this the wheel got a bit stiff. Then i realised that there was oil in the floor.
Investigated and the oil was coming from the cap of the oil container as i turned the wheel both ways.
