Hi, ODB II code reader shows a misfire on cylinder 4.  However, there's six plugs and three coil packs, so logically, if it's a coil problem shouldn't there be more than one cylinder showing a misfire condition?

Each coil poweres two spark plugs. You are only looking at the plug on one side. If you look at the other side of the engine you will see the three other plgus.

I understand that each coil fires two different plugs, however the S320 (W 140) in 1998 was an in-line 6 cylinder engine configuration, so all the coils and wires are "on top" of the engine.  I'm just confused as to why I'm only showing a misfire on cylinder 4 when I pull the codes.
