Oil Change facility never asked me about it, it broke shortly after recommended change date. It's the belt that is about 20 inches long that goes around the alternator, Parts store didn't call it a serpentine so I am not positive. Also, any advice on tools needed to replace and any guidance documents if available? Nothing I found was from after 2010. It's dead,  miles from a dealer and I don't want to tow it.

Thanks in advance!

You should have two belts. But the most important question is what engine do you have. Here is the routing for a 2.0L engine.
