I just replaced both rear air struts on my 2000 mercedes S500, when I turn on the car the rear lifts and everything is fine. Drove the car and then parked it. In less than an hour it toally lowered with a message to low to drive. Why is that?

That's most likely because there is leak in the line to the rear air struts. It could be one side or both.

Otherwise it sounds like everything works fine.
But you should fix it soon, because this could wear out the air compressor too early.

From my experience the o ring at the top of the air sturt leaks. Spray some soapy water to find out where the leak is.
